Mr. Leslie Delton Burke age 47, of the Round Top Community, Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on Monday, November 28th, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Burke was of the Baptist faith, born on May 18th, 1964 to his late parents Alvis Delton and Bonnie Rose Hunter Burke in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was employed with Kennesaw Transportation as a truck driver. Survivors include wife of 11 years Melody Ann Henley Burke of the Home in Ellijay, GA; daughter Erin Hoolihan of Orlando, FL.; sons Jesse Burke of Staten Island, NY., Brendon Hoolihan of Las Vegas, NV.; sisters an brothers-in-law Roseann and Randy Stewart of Orlando, FL., Tanya and Troy Edwards of Long Island, NY.; brother William Burke of Chino Valley, AZ.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Stewart, Sr., Randy Stewart, Jr., Scott Herrin, Brendon Hoolihan, Troy Edwards, Brandon Edwards, Rick Davis, Lee Bashum. Family will receive friends at the Logan Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m., Saturday December 3rd, 2011 until the service time of 11:00 A.M.
