Mrs. Lea Louise Loftus Weaver, age 82, of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 at her residence.

Mrs. Weaver was born on August 25th, 1943 to the late William Joseph and Doris Helen Pongratz Loftus. She was a proud and devoted member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church. She dedicated her life to her home and family, and her love was shown daily through her care, kindness, and selfless devotion.

Survivors include her husband, David Weaver of the home in Ellijay; daughters and son-in-law Mary and Lynn Dorough of Rockmart, Georgia and Kathy Weaver of Ellijay; grandchildren and spouses James Emory (Jennifer), Eric Weaver (Kali), and Jordan Weaver (Alex); great-grandchildren, Knox Bollinger and Ryker Weaver; brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Patricia Loftus. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 27th, 2026, from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Luis Alvarez officiating. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: James Emory, Eric Weaver, Jordan Weaver, Andy Weaver, Lynn Dorough, Thomas Loftus, Caroline Loftus, and Matt Bearden. Steve Archer will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, March 26th, 2026 at Logan Funeral Home.
