Obituary

Larry Fraliex, age 71 of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday, October 31, 2022. Larry was born in Caldwell, Kentucky to his late parents Raymond Fredrick and Wiline (Meeks) Fraliex. Larry served his country honorably in the United States Army. Larry was in the Black Horse regiment and received a purple heart after being wounded while serving in the Vietnam war. Larry was a member of the Cartecay United Methodist Church and enjoyed being a master woodworker. Larry is preceded in death by brothers Wayne Fraliex, Leon Fraliex, and Robert Fraliex, son Robin Fraliex, and sisters Peggy Hirst, and Nancy Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Diane Pyle. Fraliex, Ellijay, GA, and daughters Michele D. Kaminski, Georgetown, KY, Stephanie and Mitchell Moore, Bradenton, FL, Amy and Ben Crace, Nashville, TN, Tera Brown, Eddyville, KY, sons Tom Carson, Bradenton, FL, David and Karin Kaminski, KY, grandchildren Shawn Bozarth, Ashley Bozarth, Haley Moore, Justice Brown, Michael Brown, Monica Brown, Issac Crace, Isaiah Crace, Lilly Crace, Cole Kaminski, Josie Kaminski, great grandchild Dexton Fair, Sisters Shirley and Eddy Landreth Fredonia, KY, Cindy and Joe Kemp, Fredonia, KY.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 4, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Heather Nycewonder officiating. Immediately following the service, Military rites will be performed by the North GA Honor Guard in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cartecay United Methodist Church or to Cartecay United Methodist Church cemetery fund in the care of Jayne Hughes. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.loganfuneralhome.com. Logan Funeral Home & Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
