Larry James Edmondson, age 72 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Larry was born May 16, 1950, in Ellijay, GA to his late parents Howard Lewis and Dorothy (Garland) Edmondson. Larry was a member of the Pisgah Church of Christ. Larry served his country honorably in the US Air Force.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years Peggy Marie (Bowers) Edmondson, Ellijay, GA, daughters Christy and Wes Cooksey, Tucson, AZ, Melany and Richard Batten, Ellijay, GA, grandchild Ian Cooksey, and brother Edwin Edmondson, Ellijay, GA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Butch Jones officiating. The interment will be at the Peachtree Memorial Cemetery in Norcross, GA.
