Mr. Kenneth Buster Corbin age 74 of North Main St., Ellijay, GA passed from this life Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 from the North Georgia Medical Center. Member of Flat Creek Baptist Church, born February 15, 1936 to his late parents Franklin E. and Florence Wheeler Corbin in Gilmer County, Ellijay, Georgia. Mr. Corbin was the owner of Corbin Heating and Air in Dalton, GA., was employed with Waffle House for 23 years, and worked as a convenience store clerk after his retirement. Survivors include wife of 53 years Mary Nell Newton Corbin of the home; son Mike Corbin of Ellijay, GA; daughter and son-in-law Diane and Gary Keener of Ellijay, GA; grandsons and in-law Shane Keener of Ellijay, GA, Noah and Ana Keener of Somerville, MA.; brothers and sister in-laws N.J. and Betty Corbin of Dalton, GA., Vernon and Frances Corbin of Kingston, GA.; sisters and brother-in-laws Viola and the late Dortis Parks, Noleta and Kenneth Chastain of Cherry Log, GA, Barbara and Edwin Land of McCaysville, GA.; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law, Dot and Burns Jeffries of Dahlonega, GA., Cathy and Claude Chastain of Dalton, GA. and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31st, 2010 from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Rev. Franklin Harper officiating. Family will meet with friends 1 hour prior to service.
