Kathy Anderson West, age 74 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024. Kathy was born on October 30, 1950, in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Hoyt and Dorothy (Carver) Anderson. Kathy worked locally in banking for 38 years and lastly retired from United Community Bank in 2016. Kathy is preceded in death by her brother Jamie Anderson.

Kathy is survived by her son Haven Thomason (Michelle), sisters Linda Anderson Burnette (Tommy), Carol Anderson Teague (Jr), and Sandy Anderson Coleman (Travis), brother Hal Anderson, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be private. Interment will follow at the Ellijay City Cemetery at a later date.
