Dr. Katherine Ann Stucky, age 73, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on April 11, 2025.

Born on July 26, 1951, to Keith Randall Stucky and the late Florence Katherine Stucky, Katherine lived a life devoted to education and exploration. With a deep passion for learning, she earned her PhD in Business Administration and went on to inspire countless students as a college professor. Her career with American University took her across the globe, where she shared her knowledge and love of business with an international community of learners.

Survivors include Keith Randall Stucky; her sister, Karen Holt; brother-in-law, David Holt and her niece and nephew, Christina Holt and Brendan Holt, as well as the many students whose lives she touched.

After a fulfilling professional life, Dr. Stucky chose to retire in the scenic town of Ellijay, where she enjoyed the peace of the mountains and the tranquility of nature.

Her humor, intellect, and adventurous spirit will be remembered by her father, Keith Randall Stucky; her sister, Karen Holt; and her niece and nephew, Christina Holt and Brendan Holt, as well as the many students whose lives she touched.
