Julie Joanna Blalock , age 38, of Highway 5 South, Ellijay, Ga., passed Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010 at her residence. She was born on December 17th, 1971, in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. She was employed as a clerk with the Gulf Insurance Company. She is survived by her husband John Steven Blalock of the home in Ellijay, Georgia; Daughters Stephanie Christine and Cynthia Leigh Blalock of the home; Father and Mother James and Elaine Smith of Jonesboro,Georgia; Sister and Brother-in-law Geannie and Glenn Johnson of Athens, Georgia; grandmother Mary Lee Smith of Manchester, GA; Father and Mother in-law Charles and Rose Blalock of Jackson, Georgia; nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 26th, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Hood officiating. Interment will be in the Ellijay City Cemetery following the funeral service.
