Judith Anne
King
September 16, 1939 – April 5, 2026
Judith Anne King passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Judy was born on September 16, 1939, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to her late parents, Charles and Madalyn Cunningham. From an early age, she carried the determination and strength that would define her life.
She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and beloved husband of 62 years, Arthur Carl King. Their love story began young and endured through decades of devotion, partnership, and adventure.
Judy was a pioneer for women in business and built an accomplished career of more than thirty-five years with NCR Corporation at a time when few women held leadership roles. She was driven, capable, and never intimidated by a challenge. She expected excellence and worked hard for everything she achieved.
After she and Carl retired in 1999, they embraced the freedom they had earned, traveling the country in their RV and creating memories across countless miles. In The Villages, Florida, she especially enjoyed playing cards with friends (she played to win) and traveling with the RV club.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Karla Wilkins (Chris) of Ellijay, GA; Kimberly Bernard (Scott) of Kissimmee, FL; and David King (Deanna) of Ellijay, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kelli Battaglia (Anthony), Bryan Whitcomb (Hannah), Sean Whitcomb (Rikki), Seana Wilkins (Kate), Zachary King, Hunter King, Brooke Andino (Danny), Amber Adams, and Kayla Heaton; as well as eight great-grandchildren who brought her pride and joy.
Judy is further survived by her brother, Skip Cunningham (Teresa) of Aurora, CO, along with several nieces and nephews.
