Jose Veronica Cochran, age 87 of Ellijay, passed away on Sunday, April 20th, 2025. She was born on August 3rd, 1937, in Middlesex, England, to her late parents Charles and Cymbeline Harriett Annestey Zouch. She was a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Morrow, GA, and was the proud owner and operator of the JoMama's Restaurant. She was a fantastic mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, H. Malone Cochran.

She is survived by her daughter and Son-in-law Cherie and David Maddox of Ellijay, sons and daughter-in-law Scott and Sandra Cochran of Ellijay and Paul Cochran of Ellijay, grandchildren and spouses Shane and Shawna Collins, Roseanna and Jason Ringham, Jake, Dustin, and Carly Cochran, Holly Wells, and Josh and Christy Maddox. Seven great-grandchildren also survive.
