Mr. John Hillard Sosebee, Jr. age 62 of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Friday May 5th, 2023 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr. Sosebee was born on July 18th, 1960 to the late John Sosebee, Sr. and Betty Sosebee Butler. John attended First Baptist Church of Ellijay and was employed by Murray Mix Concrete. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Sosebee.

Survivors include his companion, Kelly; Daughter, Shannon Sosebee (Ashton Ledbetter); Son, Brad Sosebee (Ashley Hammonds); Grandchildren, Chandler Smith, Kirra Jones, and Brantley Pack; Siblings, Deborah Haithcock, Darlene (Bill) Marshall, Ronnie (Krystal) Sosebee; Kevin Sosebee; Nephews, Christopher Haithcock, Nick Sosebee; Niece, Brittany Sosebee.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay with Rev. Steve Fields and Speaker Ben L. Kiker officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper, GA with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Brad Sosebee, Chandler Smith, Drew Hammonds, Joe Kilgore, Heath McBee, and Mitchell Foster.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, May 12th at the Logan Funeral Home.
