Mrs. Jo Ann Carroll Davenport age 59, of the Mountaintown Community, Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on January 5th, 2011 from the North Georgia Medical Center. A member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church, she was employed with Regal-Springs in the textile industry. Survivors include husband of 44 years Tom W. Davenport of the home in Ellijay, brother and sister-in-law Kenneth L. and Ruth Carroll of Rocky Face, GA., nephews Rodney Carroll of Tunnel Hill, GA., Scott Carroll of Chatsworth, GA., Joe Carroll of Rocky Face, GA., Jarvis Burton of Columbus, IN., nieces Samantha Phillips of Chatsworth, GA, Melissa Bennett of Tunnel Hill, GA and Maranda Fowler of Chatsworth, GA., Jennifer Burton, of Columbus, IN., two great nephews Christopher Swanson , and Joshua Phillips. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8th, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Jones officiating, music and song by Irene Wofford. Interment will follow in the Ballew Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Carroll, Scott Carroll, Joe Carroll, Christopher Swanson and Joshua Phillips. Family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 7th, 2011 at the Logan Funeral Home.
