Jessica "Jessy" Franklin Hall, age 39 of Ellijay, GA passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024. Jessy was born on December 17, 1984, in Atlanta, GA to her parents David Riley Franklin Sr. and Brenda Faye Cornett. Jessy was a member of Mountaintown Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband Cole Hall of Ellijay, GA, Mother Brenda Faye Bruce of Jasper, Ga, Brothers David Riley Franklin Jr. of Ellijay, GA, Joseph Riley Franklin, and Paige of Ringold, GA, Steve Bruce and Mariah of Jasper, GA, Grandmother Linda Sherwood of Blue Ridge, GA; In laws, Doug Hall and Jan Hall of Ellijay, GA, Beth Jarvis and Steve of Ellijay, Ga, Brandon Hall and Christine of Pensacola, FL, Jennifer Colson and Eric of Ellijay, GA and several nieces and a nephew and aunts and uncles.

Jessy had a magnetic personality. She deeply loved her husband, her family, and her friends. Jessy was a constant encouragement to many and brought the best out of others. She was a kind and selfless friend who was attentive to the needs of those she loved. She used her gifts as she worked in the medical field and as an in-home caregiver. Jessy will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, nurturing heart, and endearing smile.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday Feb. 1, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Memorial Service will be held Friday February 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Mountaintown Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Snider officiating and singing by Eric Colson. The family kindly requests that no food be brought to the funeral home.
