Mr. Jeffrey "Jeff" Alfred Petersohn, age 65 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Sunday March 5th, 2023.

Mr. Petersohn was born on April 26th, 1957 in Long Island, NY to the late Richard Louis and Helen (Engler) Petersohn. Jeff worked as an environmental engineer for most of his life, but his greatest accomplishment and enjoyment came from his grandchildren, as he was a very loving and enthusiastic grandfather.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Petersohn of the home in Ellijay; sons, Benjamin Petersohn (Christy) of Marietta, GA, Andrew Petersohn (Jacqueline) of Cumming, GA, and Aaron Petersohn of Roswell, GA; grandsons, Alex and Henry Petersohn; brothers, Richard Petersohn (Sue) of Pewaukee, WI, Johnathan Petersohn (Cathy) of Stanley, NC, Todd Petersohn (Kimberley) of Lake Mary, FL; sister, Karen Petersohn-Jung (Peter) of Athens, OH; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00pm noon on Saturday March 18th, 2023 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Strickland officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the service hour of 12:00pm noon on Saturday March 18th at the Logan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Gilmer County Food Pantry in memory of Mr. Petersohn.
