James Sidney Ledford, age 89, formerly of Cherry Log, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. James was born on April 15, 1937, in Cherry Log, GA, to his late parents Horace Sidney and Myrtle Missouri "Rogers" Ledford. James served his country honorably in the US Army. James is preceded in death by his companion Helen, brother Homer Ledford, and sister-in-law Joyce Ledford.

Survivors include his sister Effie Ledford Jones, Blue Ridge, GA, Scott and Marie Ledford, Tyrone, GA, and other nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 15th, 2026 from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Pastor Miguel Vila officiating. Interment will follow in the Underwood Cemetery, Cherry Log, GA.
