James Donald Parks, age 78 of Ellijay, GA passed away Tuesday August 20, 2024. James was born on November 8, 1945, in Ellijay, GA to his late parents Benjamin Franklin Parks and Esta Henderson. James retired from Gold Kist Poultry as a Shift Supervisor for 38 years. James was preceded in death by his Grandson Motley James William Dilbeck.

Survivors include his Daughter Rhonda Parks Brooks and Henry of Ellijay, GA., son Donald Edward Parks of Calhoun, GA. grandchildren Marra Marie Parks and Timothy Donald Parks, Great grandchildren Kyla House, Olivia Ortiz, Paisley Parks and Ayden Dilbeck, sisters Odell Parks and Stacey (Mac) of Ellijay, GA, brother Benny Parks of Ellijay, GA.
