James "Randy" Hawkins, age 58 of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by his family and loved ones. Randy was born October 26, 1963, in Gainesville, GA. Randy worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Company as a forklift driver. Randy was a member of the Chestatee Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. Survivors include his wife of 35 years Lequida(Waldrip) Hawkins, Ellijay, GA. Winfred & Betty Waldrip, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Sheila Waldrip, Clint & Nakieta Waldrip, Ellijay, GA, Teresa Belcher, Madison, GA, nieces Denisha Waldrip, Brittany Waldrip, Rebecca McCants, and nephew Wesley Belcher, 7 great-nieces and nephews, special caregivers Carol West; Mechelle Thumma; and his Kitty-Cookie. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Chestatee Baptist Church Cemetery in Gainesville, GA with the Rev. Winfred Skinner officiating.
