Mr. Howard Washington Ivey, Jr., Age 72 of the Coosawattee Community Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday March 12th, 2010. Mr. Ivey was born on May 2nd, 1937 in Atlanta, GA. To his late parents Howard Washington, Sr. and Mae Franklin Ivey. He was a graduate of South Fulton High School, class of 1955. Mr. Ivey was a hard working man who raised his family. He enjoyed activities such as hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He worked as a painter in the construction industry. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00PM Saturday March 27th, 2010 from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Rev. Harden Hopper officiating. Mr. Ivey is survived by his Son and Daughter-in-Law, Michael and Jan Ivey of Acworth, Georga and Grandchildren, Christian Ivey, Charlie Ivey and Ava Ivey. The Family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the Logan Funeral Home.
