Mr. John Howard "Sarge" Bramlett, Sr., age 82 of Talking Rock, Georgia passed on Saturday, December 5th, 2015, at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper. Born May 14th, 1933 in Ellijay, Georgia, he was the son of the late Robert Bramlett and the late Etta Wright Bramlett. Mr. Bramlett was a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church and retired as a heavy equipment operator. An honorably discharged veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war. Mr. Bramlett is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susie Weaver Bramlett of Talking Rock, GA, sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Melissa Bramlett of Jasper, GA, David and Gabby Bramlett of Dahlonega, GA, John Howard Bramlett, Jr. of Fond du Lac, WI and Jeff Bramlett of Mobile, AL, grandchildren, Sarah and Amanda Bramlett, Myles and Kayla Bramlett and other grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, Randall and Vera Lee Bramlett of Ellijay, GA, Eugene and Frances Bramlett of Ellijay, GA, Billy and Penny Bramlett of Ellijay, GA and Harold and Barbara Bramlett of Jasper, GA, sister, Minnel Lee Guianquzzo of Florida. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday December 8th, 2015 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Burgess and Rev. Eugene Davis officiating. Military honors will be held in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will be in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Lynn Ward, Eddie Holt, Richard Weaver, Jamey Weaver, Seth Weaver, Kevin Bramlett, Michael Bramlett, Gary Bramlett, Keith Bramlett and Lloyd Weaver serving as pallbearers.
