Houston Lester Payne, age 87 of Marietta, GA, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. He was born on March 18, 1935, to his late parents Samuel Lester and Lillian Odell (Poe) Payne. He worked as an executive personnel manager for Arrow shirt company and retired after 35 years. Houston enjoyed traveling with his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Houston is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Louella (Brookshire) Payne. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Tracie and Brett Lawler, Woodstock, GA, granddaughters Taylor Nichols and Carlee Nichols. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion, at noon with Rev. Butch Jones officiating.
