Ms. Hazel Marvine Seabolt Kerr, age 81 of Ellijay, GA, formerly of Marietta, GA passed Saturday evening, March 25, 2023, at her sons residence.

Ms. Kerr was born on July 8th, 1941 in Marietta, GA to her late parents Caroline Wilson Seabolt and Edward Windfield Seabolt. She was a member of the Haney Grove Baptist Church and worked for Underwood Mold as a supervisor. Hazel is preceded in death by her son, Randy James Kerr, sisters, Bertha Sligh , Berdia Ethridge, Jane Clark, Emma Brown and Katherine Engler, and her brothers, Howard Seabolt and George Seabolt.

She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Rev. Eddie and Vickie Kerr of Ellijay, GA and Debbie Kerr of Hiram, GA; grandchildren and in-laws, Brandon and Karen Kerr, Rev. Jamie and Amber Kerr, Marissa and Rev. Josh Green, Chandra and Darrell Epperson, all of Ellijay, GA, and Brent and Kim Kerr of Douglasville, GA; Thirteen great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Smith and Bonnie Wilson, both of Marietta, GA and Lou Farmer of Cartersville, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Kerr, Rev. Jamie Kerr, Rev. Josh Green and Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Music and vocals will be by Ms. Hazel's family. Pallbearers will be Donald Smith, Kenny Smith, George Seabolt, Jr., Jackie Brown, Allen Melton, Greg Seabolt, Dave Farmer, Jerry Melton, and David Seabolt.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Smith and Wayne Seabolt. Graveside interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Monday, March 27th, 2023 at the Logan Funeral Home in Ellijay, GA. The family requests that no food be brought to the funeral home.
