Harriet Crew Jones, age 73 of Ellijay, Ga passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Harriet was born June 29, 1951, in Knoxville, TN to her late parents Willard and Harriet Smith. Harriet was a member of the First Baptist of Albany, Ga. Harriet was a retired elementary teacher from B.C. Haynie Elementary School in Morrow, Ga.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years Michael Edward Jones of Ellijay, Ga, daughter and son in law Courtney and Jeremy Landman of Gainesville, Ga, son and daughter in law Brandon and Ashley Jones of Newnan, Ga, grandchildren Charlotte Jones, Ian Shuckernow, and Sydney Shuckernow, brother and sister in law Charles and Karla Smith Leesburg, Ga. and sister Becky Woodruff of Greer, SC.
