Mr. Greg Brant Wells, age 48 of Ellijay, GA passed on Sunday November 14th, 2021 at his residence. He was born On December 26th, 1972 to his parents, Ray Frank and Shirley Ruth (Hill) Wells in Dalton, GA. Greg was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1991. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with his family. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday November 17th, from the Nine Mile United Methodist Church with Rev. Warren Williams, Rev. Randy McClure and Rev. John Moeller officiating. Music and singing will be by Mrs. Virginia Rutledge and Mrs. Sarah Burnett. Interment will follow in the Nine Mile Community Cemetery with Brian Roper, Steve Farist, Keith Grizzle, Chad Walker, Josh Teague, Chad West, Brent Sanford, Jeremy Queen and Chad Deboard serving as pallbearers. Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Amy Teague Wells, children and spouses, Zachary and Jessie Hopper, Elizabeth and Tyler Jarrard, Isaiah Hopper, Lila Wells, parents, Ray and Shirley Wells, brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Connie Wells, Steve and Tracy Wells all of Ellijay, GA, future granddaughter, Riley Mae Hopper, nieces and nephews, Hannah Wells Deboard, Lauren Wells Vick, Emma Wells, Katie Wells, Gracelyn Teague and Jarrett Teague. The family is receiving friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Tuesday November 16th at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Nine Mile Community Cemetery in care of Sandra Sales at 55 Sanford Lane Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mr. Wells.
