Mr. George Albert Storms, age 80, of Ellijay, GA passed away on Thursday May 18, 2023. George was born on November 18, 1942, in Patterson, NJ to his late parents George Washington and Ethel Virginia Sisco (Holland) Storms. George loved to fish, play poker, read, watch dirt track racing, watching sports, and was a mischievous person and a prankster. George is proceeded in death by his wife Jo Ann (Waters) Storms, daughter, Vivian Thurman, Sisters, Ethel Kyle, and Gladys Osborne.

Survivors include daughter, Amanda and Jeremiah Wright, son George Storms, Grandchildren Jeremiah Dawson Wright, Brad Wright, Anna Bradford, Tommy Bradford, and Angela Bassett, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way.

The family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday May 21, 2023, at Logan Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3pm Sunday May 21, 2023, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Butch Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery with Jeremiah Wright, George Storms, Jeremiah Dawson Wright, Brad Wright, Tyler Franklin, Dylan Franklin, and Tommy Bradford will be serving as pallbearers.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Parkside Nursing Home in Ellijay in memory of George.
