Mrs. Ruby Genell (Hall) Cantrell, age 83, of Talking Rock, GA, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022. She was born on February 22, 1939 to her late parents Ira Benton Hall and Martha Proctor Davis. Genell was a member of Ellijay Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband James Larry Cantrell; daughters, Debra Kay Cantrell Hyde and Susan Genell Cantrell, and brother, Walden Davis.

She is survived by her Daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Garry Rittenberry of Talking Rock, GA; Grandchildren, Jennifer and Robert Burton of Talking Rock, GA, Stephanie and Matthew Watkins of Ellijay, GA, Jessica and Reid Cochran of Talking Rock, GA ; Great grandchildren, Landon Thomas Burton and Alli Kyndall Burton, Lena Grey Cochran; sisters Yvonne Rollins of Bristol, FL; Mattie Jane and Rick Henderson of Wewahitchka, Fl; sister-in-law Michae Davis of Dayton, TX; brothers Leland and Michelle Davis of Tallahassee, Fl; Joe and Lowanda Davis of Bristol, Fl; Harold and Pam Davis of Las Vegas, NV, several nephews and nieces also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the Ellijay Church of Christ with Min. Jeremy Green and  Min. Butch Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Garry Rittenberry, Matthew Watkins, Robert Burton, Reid Cochran, Landon Burton, and Cole Parks. Interment will follow at the Ellijay City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 9:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home.
