Galen Floyd Shinkle, age 81, of Ellijay, Ga., passed away on December 29, 2025. He was born May 12, 1944, in Ft Lauderdale, FL. To his late parents, Galen Elkin Shinkle and Pauline Anna Hill. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma M. Shinkle.

Survivors include his dear friends Stephen T. and Kathy Igou of Chattanooga, TN, Beth Igou and Roland Millsaps of Chattanooga, TN, and Celia I and Rob Oberhelman of Murfreesboro, TN.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday January 12, 2026 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Rosser and Speaker Chris Berry officiating.
