Gail Davis Tavares, age 71 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Gail was born on December 28, 1952, in Griffin, GA to her late parents Albert Canary and Ora Maxine (Grant) Davis. Gail is preceded in death by her siblings Dennis Davis, Lynda Nelkin, and Sheila Davis.

Survivors include her sons Michael (Yanyan) Britt, Johns Creek, GA, Jason Tavares, Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren Kaelyn, Ellie, Vivian Jin-Britt, Max, and Atley Tavares. Sisters Annette Hill, Kimberly Parrott (David), and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews also survive.
