Franklin Columbus Davenport, 83, of Ellijay, GA, passed away in Cherokee County, GA on March 20, 2024.

Frank was born in Paulding County, GA to Cecil Roy Davenport and Beulah Bell Davenport on August 14, 1940. Frank was self-employed and worked as a Contract Laborer most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with family, working with his hands, gardening, fishing, raising chickens, and being a loyal Freemason for 52 years.

Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ella Joanna Davenport and their 4 children, Ray Davenport, Cheryl Masinelli, Michael Davenport and Joseph Davenport; 7 grandchildren, Zach Masinelli, Matthew Masinelli, Josh Masinelli, James Masinelli, Samantha Taylor, Jordan Davenport and Kamryn Davenport; 6 great-grandchildren, Stafford Taylor, Ellis Taylor, Cooper Taylor, Alysen Masinelli and Caleb Masinelli, Marra Davenport and son in law, Tony Masinelli, daughter in law's, Maria Davenport, her son Jonathan Boyd and Cyndi Davenport and her son's Cody Keener and Noah Freeman. He is preceded in death by his parents and his half-brother Marion Davenport.

Logan Funeral Home, located in Ellijay, GA has handled the cremation and there will be a Masonic memorial service on April 13, 2024, at 11 am at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion.
