Mrs. Evelyn Virginia (Bennett) Blomeley, age 95 of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Evelyn was born July 25, 1925 to her late parents Harry Nichols and Myrtle Bernice (Stumme) Bennett in Southampton, New York. She was of the Methodist faith, and a Christian. She graduated in 1944 from Southampton High School and received her Nursing degree in 1947 from Southampton Hospital. She was an adoring mother to her children and loved by so many. She is preceded in death by her husband William S. Blomeley, Jr, brother Harry C. Bennett. Evelyn is survived by her Daughters Sherry Lynn Blomeley, of Ellijay, Georgia, Susan Bernice and Douglas Croyle, of Newport, Washington. Sons William Stanley Blomeley III, of Gainesville, Florida, Lewis and Linda Blomeley, of Maryanna, Florida, Bill (William R.) and Terry Blomeley, of Ellijay, Georgia, David C and Wilma Blomeley, of Woodbine, Georgia, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren, and 2 great great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Saturday, September 5, 2020, from 2pm till 5pm. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with David Blomeley speaking.
