Evadna "Sue" Claudette (Stafford) Stokes, 83 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born January 21,1938 in Sylvania, GA to her late parents Carson and Claudine Stafford. Sue was a member of the First Methodist Church of Ellijay. Sue is preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Stokes. Survivors include her son William Murray Stokes,Jr, St Marks, FL, daughter and sons-in-law Jan and Rickey Brantley, Midway, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joey Roland Jasper, GA, grandchildren Jeremy Stokes, Deanne and Josh Walker, Victoria and Matt Green,Shelby Stokes; great grandchild, Winfield Green,and Blayke Adcock. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Rev. John Brantley officiating.
