Eugene "Gene" Goss Aaron, Jr, age 71 of Ellijay, GA passed on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Gene was born January 18, 1951, in Chattanooga, TN to his late parents Eugene Goss and Betty Sue (Fairbanks) Aaron, Sr. Gene was a member of Salem Baptist Church of Ellijay. Gene served honorably as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. Gene is survived by his wife Cheryl Denine (Mervyn) Aaron, Ellijay, GA, daughter Barbara and Bobby Coker, Jasper, GA, son Eugene Goss Aaron, III, Ellijay, GA, sister Debbie and Jerry Parks, Ellijay, GA, grandchildren Jacob Coker, Hailey Buckles, Dalton Coker, Breanna Coker, Gracie Coker, great-grandchildren Damyien Coker, Parker Coker, Kairi Buckles, and nieces and nephews survive. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Rev. Daniel Reeves, and the North GA Honor Guard officiating.
