Emory Truit Brown, age 81 of Murfreesboro, TN passed on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was born July 2, 1940 to his late parents Claude E. and Edith Frances (Henson) Brown in Ellijay, GA. Emory is preceded in death by his sister Sandy Brown. Survivors include daughter Virginia "Ginny" Edith (Brown) and Dr. David Milton Whitley, son William Conoly and Candace A. Brown, grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Whitley, Amy Kathyn Whitley, Jonathan David Whitley, Timothy James (Emma) Whitley, Noland Conoly Brown, Conor John Brown. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Oak Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. James Holt officiating.
