Eldridge Bruce Quarles. Age 78 of Ellijay, passed on Thursday, August 5, 2021. He was born November 17, 1942 in Ellijay, GA to his late parents Bruce and Mary Emiline (Davis) Quarles. Eldridge was a member of the Tails Creek Baptist Church and was a retired Truck Driver. Eldridge is preceded in death by his wife Peggy Corbin Quarles. Survivors include sons Stacey Quarles, Chatsworth, GA, Ritchie Quarles and Debra Patterson, Ellijay, GA, grand children Tia, Allison, and Haley Quarles, great grandchildren Grace Quarles, Joyce Wright, and Rylan Wright, sisters Martha Ann and Rev. Franklin Harper, Ellijay, GA, Mary Alice and Harry McClure, Ellijay, GA, brother William David and Nancy Bliss Quarles, Crossville, TN. Visitation will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home & Chapel. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Adams, Rev. Franklin Harper, and Rev. Brondy Davis officiating. Music will be provided by Wanda Davis and Harold Sanford. Interment will follow in the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
