Edna Lynne (Long) Rich, age 62 of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday, September 20, 2021. Edna was born to her parents J.L. and Katherine Betty (Densmore) Long in Dalton, GA. Edna graduated from North West Whitfield High School in 1976. Edna is preceded in death by her daughter Heather Renee Rich, father J.L. Long, and sister Virginia Long. Survivors include her husband of 47 years Michael A. Rich, Ellijay, GA, daughter Amy Leigh and Tony Sassman, Jasper, GA, grandchildren Titus Matteson, Josiah Sassman, Emma Sassman, mother Katherine Long, Dalton, GA, brother David Long, Dalton, GA and several nieces and nephews also survive. Family will receive friends Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 2:00 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kasey Kuyper officiating.
