Earlene Burgess McClure, age 75 of the Tails Creek community passed on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Earlene was born September 23, 1945 to her late parents Willard Dorsey and Reba Lee (Quarles) Burgess in Ellijay, GA. Earlene was a member of the Pleasant Gap Baptist Church. She was retired from Thomas & Hall Pharmacy and Rite Aid Pharmacy. She enjoyed being outside and working in her flower garden. Earlene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Tina D. and William Wright, Ellijay, GA, granddaughter Monica Wright, sister Carolyn Burgess Rose, Ellijay, GA, brother J.L. Burgess, Ellijay, GA, nieces and nephew she is also survived by her loving cat Chase. A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Music and Singing will be performed by Christy H. Taylor and Tish and Travis Banks. Interment will follow in the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
