Mr. Earl Rupert Roberts, age 77 of the Craigtown community Ellijay, GA passed on Monday evening, March 13th, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare Of Blue Ridge. Mr. Roberts was born July 14th, 1939 in Washington, D.C. to his late parents, Rupert Earl Roberts and Helen Augusta Ballzell Roberts. He was a graduate of Surratville High School and the University of Maryland earning a Bachelor's and Master's degree. Earl was a member of the Methodist faith and worked most of his life in Education as a School Teacher. He is survived by his Sister, Betty Cato of Franklin, NC, Friend, Clyde Jones of Ellijay, GA. There are no services planned. Interment will take place in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Murphy, NC.
