Doris Jean Key, age 69 of Ellijay, GA passed on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Doris was born on October 7, 1953, in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Gordon Edward "Ed" and Betty Sue (Clark) Key. Doris was a member of the East Ellijay Baptist Church. Doris is preceded in death by her brother Donald Key.

Survivors include sisters M. Sharon and Edward Kendell, Ellijay, GA, Ann J. and Ricky Vick, Ellijay, GA, brothers Charles "Leon" and Maxine Key, Ellijay, GA, Billy Wayne and Linda Key, Ellijay, GA, Michael Edward and Bobbi Key, Ellijay, GA nieces Shawdee Alisha Pope, Linda Sue Peppers, Leeann Waters, Michelle Key Millisap, Ganell Key, Connie Gibson, nephews Zachary Tyler Vick, Benjie Stafford, Alan Stafford, Jason Stafford, Brian Trogglin, Michael Eric Key, Scottie Daniel Key, Greg Pope, and David Key.
