Mr. Donald "Doc" Marlin McClure, age 86 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024. Donald was born on February 28th, 1938, in Ellijay, GA to his loving parents George McClure and Bonnie (Arnold) McClure. Donald was a member of Little Baptist Church and was also the owner and operator of McClure Grading and Welding.

Donald is preceded in death by his brothers Danny McClure, David and Christine McClure of Ellijay, GA and son Ronald McClure of Ellijay, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine McClure; Daughters Rita and Johnny Fowler of Dalton, GA, Diana and Ruben Rodriguez of Ellijay, GA, Peggy Sue McClure of Ooltewah, TN, Bonnie and Gene Patterson of Rydal, GA, Jessica McClure of Ellijay, GA; Sons Ronnie and Sandy McClure of Ellijay, GA, Donnie and Rhonda of Pagosa Springs, CO, Rev. Donald Jr. and Jeanine McClure of Monroe, GA, Anthony and Cindy McClure of Ellijay, GA, Timothy McClure of Ellijay, GA, and Timothy Williams (Donna); Sister Sue Davis of Ellijay, GA; Brothers James and Glenda McClure of Ellijay, GA, Arlin and Elsie McClure of Ellijay, GA, Leon and Nina McClure of Ellijay, GA; Thirty Seven (37) grandkids and Forty (40) Great-Grandkids also survived.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 13th, 2024, from 11am to 5pm.

The funeral service will be held at 5pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Lands, Rev. Donald Jr. McClure, and Rev. Alan Davenport officiating. The Daily Walk Ministry Choir will be singing.

Flowers are being accepted, or donations can be made to charity of choice in memory of Mr. McClure. The family also asks kindly that no food be brought to the funeral home.
