Dianne Davenport, age 72 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.  Dianne was born March 15, 1951, in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Gordon and Lexie (Corbin) Davenport.  Dianne was a retired teacher from Gilmer County High School.  Dianne was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ellijay.  Dianne is preceded in death by her brother Lee Davenport.

Survivors include aunt and uncle Charles and Opal Corbin, numerous cousins, friends, and co-workers also survive.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 2 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Gibbs and Rev. Harold Willis officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rex Corbin, Dale Corbin, Tyler Corbin, Mark Barnes, Mark Knuckles, and Luke Hardeman serve as pallbearers. There will be no graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Dianne to the Gilmer High School Business Education Department or the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery fund c/o Billy James.
