Dennis Claud Gibson, age 70 of Ellijay, GA passed on Friday, September 2, 2022. Dennis was born July 4, 1952, in Ellijay, GA to his late parents Claud William and Mary Louise (Charles) Gibson. Dennis was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Dennis is survived by his sisters Linda and Bill Jackson, Marietta, GA, Terri and Ramiro Banderas, Atlanta, GA, niece Eden Lusk, nephews Richard Waddell,Tori Waddell, Jody Waddell, Bailey Waddell, Mckenzie Waddell, Glenn Jackson, Chris Jackson, Anderson Lusk, and Pearce Lusk,uncles Larry Charles, and Victor Davis, aunt Maxine Charles, also several cousins survive.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 2:00 pm with Dr. John Brantley officiating. Warren Lusk, Eden Lusk, Anderson Lusk, Pearce Lusk, Richard Waddell, Joseph Waddell, Tim McArthur, and Alan Charles will serve as pallbearers. The interment will be at the Nine Mile United Methodist Church Cemetery.
