Mrs. Deborah Ann Evans, age 72 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Friday July 15th, 2022 at Parkside Ellijay Nursing Home. Deborah was born on June 5th, 1950 in Atlanta, GA to her late parents, W.A. Waites and Peggy R. Bramlett. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School and worked as a custodian at Oakland Elementary School for many years. She was a founding member of the Tri-State Christian Center in Morganton, GA and had a love for arts and crafts. She is survived by her children, James Sharpton (Tina) of Ellijay, GA, Marty Powell of Missouri, and Bethany Woodring (Kerry) of Ellijay, GA; siblings, DeDe England of Morganton, GA, Denise Thornton of Douglasville, GA, Daryl Waites of Ellijay, GA, and Peggy L. Bramlett of Ellijay, GA; 3 grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday August 20th, 2022 from the Tri State Christian Center in Morganton, GA.
