Mr. Clyde Wiggins Windham age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA. passed from this life on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Heritage Heath Care in Blue Ridge, GA. He was born in Reynolds, GA., to the late Willard Gray and Annie Inez White Windham. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War where he earned the Korean Service Medal, two Bronze Service Stars and the United Nations Service Medal. He received a B.S. and Masters Degree in Education from Mercer University in Macon, GA. and was employed as an educator in Macon, GA., for 31 years, retiring in 1990. He moved to Blue Ridge, GA in 1992 where he resided until his death. He is preceded in death by sister Yvonne Parris and brother Walter Windham. Survivors include sisters Doris Windham Roberts of Warner Robbins, GA., Gwen Windham Gaylor of Warner Robbins, GA.; brothers Emmett Windham of Cary, NC, Carlton Windham of Sanford, FL. and loving neighbor Irene Center of Blue Ridge, GA. Memorial service was held in Blue Ridge, GA. A private burial took place in Reynolds, GA.
