Mr. Claude William "Billy" Wiley, age 60 of Cherrylog, Georgia passed on Thursday morning, February 19, 2015, at North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay, Georgia. Billy was born April 26, 1954 in Thomson, McDuffie county, Georgia, to his late parents, William Hudson Wiley and Lola Mae Sanford Wiley. He was a member of the Boardtown Church of Christ and a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1972. During his career, Mr. Wiley worked for World Carpet, Robert Shaw, Ellijay-Gilmer Water Authority, and Courier Mills. Billy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sue Holloway Wiley of the home in Cherrylog, GA; Sons and daughters-in-law, William David and Lori Wiley of Statesboro, GA and Caleb Wiley of Cherrylog, GA; Grandson, Trevor Wiley; Brother, David Wiley of Ellijay, GA; Mother-in-law, Joyce Holloway Butler of Cherrylog, GA; Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Faye and Donnie Jones of Ellijay, GA, Carol and Allen Champion of Ellijay, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Steven and Renee Holloway of Cherrylog, GA, David and Julie Holloway of Ft. Collins, CO; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015 from the Boardtown Church of Christ with Min. David Mullins, Kent O'Dell and Cody Bearden officiating. Graveside interment will follow in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Oliver, Terry Fowler, Jacob Beck, Ben Holloway, Lamar Quarles, Wayne Holt, Donnie Jones, Allen Champion and Trevor Wiley. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015, at Logan Funeral Home.
