Clara "Fay" (Pankey) Clark, age 88 of Villa Rica, GA died Monday, March 7, 2022. Fay was born February 7, 1934, in Ellijay, GA to the late Marvin Columbus and Nancy Ann (Banks) Pankey. Fay was a member of the Victory Tabernacle Holiness Church in Villa Rica, GA. Faye is preceded in death by husband Lionel L. Clark, sisters Paralee Pankey Beard, Reba Pankey Weese, Mattie Pankey Pierce, brothers John Pankey, Seth Pankey. Survivors include daughter Mary Ann Shepard, Villa Rica, GA, son James Terry Shepard, Chattanooga, TN, grandchildren Tracey Wayne Weems, Melissa Kay (Jeff) Ray, Winona Rose Brown, great-grandchildren Courtney (Tyler) Thurman, Chassity (Gregory) Stuck, Kyle Weems, Koree Weems, 5 great greatgrandchildren, sisters Mary Jones, Ellijay, GA, Ruby Cochran,Ellijay, GA, brother Hobert Pankey, Ellijay, GA, and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Luke officiating. Patrick Martin, Jimmy Pankey, Tracey Weems, Michael Rogers, Jeff Ray, and Greg Stuck will be serving as pallbearers. Flowers are being accepted.
