Charles W. Pendley, age 71 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday, April 17, 2015, at his residence. Mr, Penley was born Monday, March 6, 1944 to his late parents Carl and Eula Mae Moon Pendley in Dawsonville, Georgia, He was a member of Goshen Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA. He was self employed as a grounds-keeper. Mr. Pendley is preceded in death by sisters Ruby Hester, Jewell Elliott, Geneve Penley, and brothers Bobby & James Pendley. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Annette Pendley of the home in Ellijay; daughters and in-law Maria & Allen (Squeaky) stafford of Ellijay, GA, Jennifer Lee Pendley; son and daughter-in-law Charles Jr. & Karen Pendley of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren Tyler Stafford, Kimberly Stafford, Austin Stafford, Courtney Pendley, Hayley Pendley, Emily Pendley; great-grandchild Brantley Stafford; brothers, Larry Pendley of Commerce, GA, Carlton Pendley of Lutz, FL, sisters, Mae Bell Bates of Resaca, GA, Louise Broom of Commerce, GA. and Janice Green of Lutz, FL. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Ash officiating. Graveside Interment will follow in the Jarrett Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2015, at Logan Funeral Home, Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to the Charles W.
