Charles Robert "Bobby" Meeks, age 73 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Bobby was born on May 11, 1951, in Gainesville, GA to his late parents Leonard B. and Virgie (O'Shields) Meeks. Bobby was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church. Bobby was just a regular old guy and loved his family, friends, and grandkids. He also had a love for music. Bobby is preceded in death by siblings Lavonia Wofford, Thomas Meeks, Clifton Meeks, and George Meeks.

Survivors include son Jeremy Meeks (Renia), daughter Julie Meeks, grandchildren Justin Meeks, Haley Lummus, Steven Meeks, Austin Lummus, Leah Lummus, great grandchildren Carter Meeks, Zoie Hall, and sister Faye Jean Olsen, step grandchildren Kelly Turner,  Kaden and Trae Turner and Brantley and Addy Morris.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 12 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 2pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. Jody Free, Cody Morris, Justin Meeks, Steven Meeks, Austin Lummus, and Robert Meeks are serving as pallbearers.
