Charles David Dover, age 82 of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Charles was born on April 11. 1940 in Blue Ridge, GA to his late parents Willie David and Hazel Mae Bell (Brown) Dover. Charles enjoyed going to church and had a love for music. Charles was a graduate of Murray High School in 1959. Charles is preceded in death by his sister Wanda Freeman. Survivors include children Chris (Heather) Dover, Dustin (Shenna) Dover, Linda Hayes, and Elizabeth Newell, grandchildren John Ladehoff, Kansas (Hattie) Dover, Tanya (Eris) Dover, and David Alvarez, great-grandchildren Keara Ladehoff, siblings Lois Blassingame, Quilla (G.L) Ledford. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Richards officiating. Interment will follow at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery, Blue Ridge, GA with Jake Knight, John Colwell, Austin Quarles, Johnny Fowler, Paul Hood, and Greg Ledford all serving as Pallbearers.
