Mrs. Cartha Jones Christopher age 74, of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday, October 2nd, 2017. She was a member of Ellijay United Methodist Church. Mrs. Christopher was born August 15th, 1943 in Corinth, MS to her late parents Jessie Allan and Jewell Beechum Jones. She was a graduate of Messick High School, Class of 1961 and then employed as a secretary at Baptist Hospital In Miami, FL. Cartha was an accomplished cross stitcher with panels of beauty. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, October 6th, 2017 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Tarr officiating, music and vocals by Thomas Pinson. Graveside interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens in Blue Ridge, GA. Survivors include husband of 56 years, Michael Lee Christopher, Sr. of the home In Ellijay; sons and daughters-in-law Michael & April Christopher of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Stephen Randy & Dahlia Christopher of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren Keefer Walker Christopher, Savannah Paige Christopher Pinson (Thomas); sister Shirley Maureen Jones Howard (Patrick) of Memphis, TN; several nieces and nephews.
