Mrs. Carolyn Ann Abadie McFarland of Ellijay, GA., age 59 of Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on Monday, April 2nd, 2012 from her residence. She was born on September 5th, 1952 to her late parents Harold Charles and Daisy Bell Parker Abadie in Corpus Christie, TX. She was a graduate of Sylvan High School, Class of 1970, and attended State University of West GA. Mrs. McFarland was employed as a legal secretary. A graveside memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 7th, 2012 at Maplewood Cemetery in Charlottesville, VA. Survivors include husband of 25 years John B. McFarland of the home in Ellijay, and son Harold Sean McFarland of Woodstock, GA.
