Brian Campbell Sheehey, age 69 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Brian was born on January 4, 1956, in Tucson, AZ, to his parents, Walter and Marie (Jenks) Sheehey. Brian was a loving Father and Grandfather, whose unwavering kindness, dedication to his family, and passion for athletics touched everyone around him. He graduated from the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind (ASDB) in 1975. Brian played football for Gallaudet University (1975-1978) and represented the United States in the 1977 US Olympics in Romania for Track and Field.

Brian is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jo Ann Sheehey; children Bruce Sheehey, Josie Aiosa (Ryan), and Brett Sheehey (Kori); grandchildren Kensington Sheehey, Isabella Aiosa, and Lillyana Aisoya; Mother, Marie Sheehey; and several siblings also survive.

To honor Brian's wishes, he will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
